The SIMPEX Group grows in the field of electrical engineering/automation and acquires EGA Emde Glockner Automation GmbH
Leipzig, November 2024. The SIMPEX Group, one of the leading service and solution provider in the field of hydraulics, lubrication technology, pneumatics, as well as special machine and plant engineering, is acquiring 100% of the shares of the Lüdinghausen-based company EGA Emde Glockner Automation GmbH, which will in future operate as SIMPEX EGA GmbH.
With this acquisition, the SIMPEX Group is strengthening its technical expertise in the field of electrical engineering and automation and will be able to provide customers with holistic support in the future. "The ever closer integration of hydraulics and electrical engineering is a long-term development that we want to counter in this way," says Ilkka Matinpalo, CEO of the SIMPEX Group.
